On the Quest Controller Unit press the MODE soft key located below the LCD

display until the Agitation menu is displayed. Set parameters as follows:

Turn the agitation on by pushing the Agitation ON soft key located to the right of the

Quest Controller Unit display. If solvent is splashing up onto the Upper Manifold,

readjust the height of the agitation. The Mix Speed Needle Valve located on the front

of the Quest Controller Unit may also be used to soften or slow the agitation by

turning the valve clockwise.

Setting the Reaction Temperature and Time

Select the Set Temperature menu on the Quest Controller Unit by pressing the MODE

soft key located below the LCD display (Figure 14).

heaters on. The cursor must be on line

of the Set Temperature menu to activate the

heaters for Side A.

Select the Monitor Temperature display on the Quest Controller Unit by pressing the

MODE soft key (Figure

15).

When the heaters reach the programmed temperature, the timer will begin counting

down fiom 03:00:00 hours.
